Vacancy Description

Packing Operative
Manufacturing and Production
Driving licence is advisable as we are in a rural location
with very minimum public transport.
Responsible for the smooth operation of every production
run. To work in various capacities specialising in a variety of machines (e.g. Fillers, Labellers and Packing
Operate production machinery to manufacture bottled
water products
Maintain and monitor machine to ensure it functions
Understanding of how operated machine functions
Conduct periodical quality checks.
Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to
complete operations as needed.
Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different
functions or other varying needs of production.
Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping
To work in line with Health and Safety regulations.

Training provided

Full on the job training will be provided by the company, leading to a sustainable job for the right candidate.

Desirable personal qualities

Be able to work part of a team.
Attention to detail as quality checks are very important.
Preferably some knowledge of the manufacturing
With some production interest, but full
training will be provided.
Need to be flexible and a good team player.
Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure
environment with production targets.
