Vacancy:
Apprentice Accountant
75 Whitchurch Road, Cardiff, CF14 3JP
Daily duties:
- Basic book-keeping
- Assisting in payroll preparation
- Admin & File work
- Liaison with client, when required
- Phone calls & Emailing
Desirable personal qualities:
- Must have a real interest in developing a career in accounts
- Punctual & disciplined
- Honest & hardworking
- Friendly, approachable, professional, good time keeping, passion for learning.
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relationships with the team.
- Effective communication and organisational skills.
- Must have a real interest in developing a career in accounts
- Knowledge of Excel is desirable
Qualifications required:
GCSE’s in A*-C Maths and English (essential)
A levels with maths (Desirable)
Welsh language requirements:
None
Apprenticeship course:
Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accountancy
Pay:
Apprenticeship rates (starting £5.50 per hour)
Hours:
16-30 hours per week
