Apprentice Artisan Baker, BROD

The Bakery is looking to relocated durring the apprentiship year. The start of the leaning period will be based in our Pontcanna and the second half will be in our new bakery in Roath/Rhymney. The learner must be able to attend both locations.

Daily Duties:

  • assist bakery team in duties including preparation of all products
  •  assist in day to day running of the bakery, including cleanin
  •  learn to produce baked products including pastries, breads and cakes
  • accurately weigh up products

Desirable Personal Qualities:

  • able to get up early 
  • stand for long periods of time
  • physically fit (25kg sacks of flour)
  • can – do attitude and willingness to learn
  • able to apply themselves to completion of apprenticeship
  • have a passion for baking

Qualifications Required:

no previous qualifications required, but desirable are food safety

Welsh Language Requirements:
Welsh Spoken Skills: No
Welsh Written Skills: No

Minimum living wage. Depending on age

20hrs (part time) or 35-40Hrs (Full time)
