Graduate Web Developer

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Junior Developer to join our Welshpool-based web design, software and mobile app development agency. If you’re an enthusiastic Junior Developer, Computer Science Graduate, or Junior PHP Developer, we want to hear from you.
The Junior Developer role offers a salary of between £20,000 – £25,000, dependent upon knowledge. The role is based at our Welshpool office which is commutable from Shrewsbury, Newtown, Oswestry and Mid Wales.
What do we want from you?
The Junior Developer will undertake a range of projects requiring some of the following abilities:
PHP, Javascript (React, Node,js), HTML, CSS and front-end web development.
Strong communication.
Ability to manage your own workload and work to deadlines.

Training provided:
-Full on the job training will be provided by the company, leading to a sustainable job for the right candidate.
-Interviews will be conducted throughout the duration of the advert, the job will be offered as soon as a suitable candidate is found.

Desirable personal qualities:
This role is suitable for a graduate with a relevant degree looking for their first position and is a fantastic opportunity that will offer you the chance to develop your technical skill-set. Or someone who can demonstrate their ability as a strong developer.

We are not looking for someone who has taken a short course and never had a strong interest in web or software development in the past. But if you have had a passion for coding for years and can demonstrate that you are a strong developer then we may consider you for the role. We are also looking for developers who have worked in the industry as well.

Qualifications Required:
1 Degree at Pass or equivalent

Welsh Language Requirements:
Welsh Spoken Skills: Advantage
Welsh Written Skills: No

Pay:
£20,000 – £25,000 PA

Hours:
37.5 hours per week
