Horse Care Apprentice
Abergwuan Stud has an opportunity for an individual to work alongside an experienced horse woman with a range of horses including Thoroughbred, Irish Draughts Crosses as well as young horses to experienced brood mares.
There will be opportunity to handle the horses, train and work with them in preparation for shows, sales and public appearances.
There will be opportunities to accompany and work with the horses at shows as well as some riding opportunity for the right candidate.
This vacancy is a great opportunity to learn a wide range of skills with a wide range of horses and develop your skills handling and working with horses in the long term.
Training will be provided through the Haddon Training apprenticeship programme which will focus on the practical skills in Horse Care and Management.

Minimum of £4.15 per hour (will consider age and experience).
Minimum of 16 hours (be can be full time).
