We are a passionate high end French style patisserie dedicated to crafting exceptional baked goods. We are excited to offer an opportunity to join the team at Petit Four Patisserie in Cardiff to commence your training as a Patisserie Apprentice.
The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Patisserie Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about baking and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general kitchen and bakery preparation tasks
- Bake a variety of wholesale items
- Decorate cakes with precision and creativity
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including kitchen and staff areas
Desirable Personal Qualities:
- Strong interest in patisserie and baking
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team

We have over 15 years experience in 5-star hotels across the UK we have honed our skills and developed a deep understanding of what it takes to create exceptional desserts. The team is led by Michael Coggan who during his career has won many awards for his craft, most recently winning Channel 4’s Bake Off: The Professionals. We are committed to using the highest quality ingredients and source local wherever possible as well as using the best techniques to create desserts that are not only delicious but are also visually stunning.

Qualifications required:
Strong interest in patisserie and baking and an enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Apprenticeship course:
Level 2 Foundation Apprenticeship in Baking Industry Skills
Pay:
Apprenticeship Rates starting at £6.40 per hour
Hours:
Full time 40 hours per week , 8 hour shifts anytime Monday – Sunday between 4am – 3pm
