Recipe: Homemade Lamb Burger recipe

Simple but tasty Burger recipe for your summer bbq.

Ingredients

  • 450g of minced Lamb
  • 1/2 a white onion finely chopped
  • 40g-50g of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon of mint jelly
  • 1 tablespoon of dijon mustard
  • A generous pinch of garlic powder
  • Salt and Pepper to season

Method

  1. Place the mince into a large mixing bowl
  2. Add the remainder of the ingredients and mix thoroughly
  3. Separate the mix into 4 equal sized balls
  4. Form the balls into a burger shape making sure the mixture is firmly packed together
  5. Leave in the fridge to set for at least 3 hours
  6. Place on a hot grill and cook for 3/4 minutes a side or until cooked through
  7. Serve on a toasted bun with your preferred toppings
