This category celebrates apprentices who demonstrate exceptional dedication, hard work and passion. It recognises individuals who have made a meaningful impact on their organisation’s apprenticeship programme and have actively applied their learning to advance their own careers.
Entries should demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Exceptional dedication, commitment and passion shown consistently throughout their apprenticeship journey.
- Application of learning to improve workplace performance and achieve career progression goals.
- Positive influence on peers and contribution to the overall success of the apprenticeship programme.
- Innovative ideas or initiatives that have enhanced their organisation or apprenticeship experience.
- Acting as a role model, inspiring others through professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Resilience in overcoming personal or professional challenges and barriers to succeed.
- Clear evidence of growth, achievement and impact beyond expectations.
This award is by nomination only. Nominators must obtain the nominee’s consent prior to submitting the application.
All applications will require a minimum of three high-resolution photographs of the nominee in their place of work.

Cambrian Training Apprenticeship, Employer and Skills Awards 2026
The Awards will be held at The Metropole Hotel & Spa, Llandrindod Wells on the evening of Tuesday, 2nd June 2026.
The closing date to enter the Awards is Monday, 6th April 2026.
Criteria to Enter:
Nominee must be an apprentice that has completed in the last 12 months or is still on a programme with Cambrian Training or one of Cambrian Training’s sub-contractors.
The apprentice will be marked against their outstanding story throughout their apprenticeship and career journey.
