This category will showcase the dedication, commitment, hard work and passion of those individuals who have promoted the Welsh language and culture on their apprenticeship programme or within their workplace.
Entries should demonstrate one or more of the following:
- Active promotion of the Welsh language and culture in the workplace and/or apprenticeship programme.
- An individual who has worked hard and contributed significantly to the apprenticeship programme.
- Encouraging peers, colleagues and employers to embrace and use Welsh in daily practice.
- Commitment to learning and developing Welsh language skills personally and professionally.
- Showcasing Welsh heritage, traditions or values through projects, events or community engagement.
- Clear aspirations for continuing to champion Welsh language and culture in future career paths.
- Inspirational impact – motivating others and acting as a role model for apprentices across Wales.
This award is by nomination only. Nominators must obtain the nominee’s consent prior to submitting the application.
All applications will require a minimum of three high-resolution photographs of the nominee in their place of work.
All Awards Finalists will be invited to a ceremony to celebrate the
Cambrian Training Apprenticeship, Employer and Skills Awards 2026
The Awards will be held at The Metropole Hotel & Spa, Llandrindod Wells on the evening of Tuesday, 2nd June 2026.
The closing date to enter the Awards is Monday, 6th April 2026.
Criteria to Enter:
Must be an individual that has completed in the last 12 months or is still on an apprenticeship programme with Cambrian Training or one of its sub-contractors.
OR
Must be a member of the staff working for Cambrian Training or one of its sub-contractors.
