On Tuesday, 25th November, Cambrian Training apprentice Aaron Jones took to the stage at the National Training Federation of Wales (NTFW) members’ networking event at the Pierhead, Bae Caerdydd, to share his inspiring apprenticeship journey.
Aaron, who has nearly completed his Level 3 City & Guilds Apprenticeship in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership, was asked to represent Cambrian Training apprentices and was introduced by Managing Director Faith O’Brien.
Aaron’s Apprenticeship Journey
Aaron’s story is one of determination and growth. Encouraged by his employer Anthony Christopher, Aaron enrolled in the Level 3 apprenticeship in July 2024. With support from his training officer Leah Williams essential skills tutor, Julie Lovell, Aaron has excelled—completing significant observations such as running a service and conducting a cellar risk assessment, while also mastering challenging written and knowledge-based tasks.
Aaron is aiming to finish his apprenticeship by Christmas. His sights are already set on future promotion opportunities and celebrating his achievement at the Cambrian Training Summer Graduation held at the Royal Welsh Showground.
