About the apprenticeship
Duties
Operation of a busy kitchen in compliance with HACCP regulations. Maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene, ensuring a safe working environment for fellow staff and customers. Ability to multitask and work under a high-pressure environment during busy service times. Preparation, cooking and running a section of the kitchen.
- Pay: £12-14
- Hours of work: 16-30 hours per week

- Hygiene: A strong commitment to maintaining excellent food safety and personal hygiene standards.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene required as a minimum.
- Thorough knowledge of ingredients and allergens in all menu items.
- Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a kitchen team.
- Physical Stamina: The physical endurance to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in cleaning and food preparation to ensure high standards.
- Organisational Skills: The ability to keep the kitchen and its supplies well-organised and efficiently managed.
