Vacancy:
Apprentice chef
Goose & Cuckoo, Queens Square, Llangadog, Carmarthenshire, SA19 7SY

Daily Duties:

• Working alongside & assisting our fantastic Head Chef
• Slicing vegetables, meat and other ingredients
• Ensuring the set nutritional and hygiene regulations are met
• Accurately labelling and storing food items
• Maintaining ingredient stocks
• Inspecting and setting out the plates
• Ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained

Desirable Personal Qualities:
Willingness to learn, good hygiene standards, an eye for detail, flexible, hard working, confident, ability to use own initiative and to work well within a team.

Qualifications Required:
Some previous experience preferred but not essential

Welsh Language Requirements:
None

Apprenticeship Course:
Level 2 professional cookery

Pay:
Negotiable

Hours:
31-40 hours per week
