The role

We are looking for an Apprentice Administrator to join our team and support the smooth day to day running of the office. This is an entry level role designed for someone who is organised, reliable, and keen to learn, with a strong focus on client service.
You will often be the first point of contact for clients, both in person and on the phone, so a friendly, professional manner is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greeting clients on arrival and ensuring they feel welcome
  • Offering and serving tea, coffee, and refreshments to clients
  • Answering incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately
  • Booking and managing client appointments and meeting rooms
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post
  • General office administration duties
  • Maintaining a tidy, professional reception and office environment
  • Supporting the wider team with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Ensuring client service standards are consistently high

  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility
  • Comfortable using basic IT systems such as email and calendars
  • Ability to follow processes and instructions carefully
Training and Development
This role will be supported by a formal apprenticeship programme, providing structured training alongside practical experience in a professional office environment. It is an excellent opportunity to build a long term career in financial services or administration.

Qualifications required:

Good standard of general education. Maths and English GCSE grade C or equivalent is preferable.

Welsh language requirements:  None

Apprenticeship course:  Level 2 Apprenticeship in Business Administration

Pay: Apprenticeship Rates

Hours: 34 hours per week Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm with one hour lunch.  

Interview arrangements: You will be required to attend a face to face interview at Celtic financial Planning Offices
