The role

We are looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to join our team.   This is an entry level role designed for someone who is organised, reliable, and keen to learn, with a strong focus on client service.  You will often be the first point of contact for clients so a friendly, professional manner is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order processing
  • Following up samples
  • Customer service- answering product enquiries
  • Keeping CRM system up to date
  • Quoting customers and following up
  • Upselling / cross-selling existing customers
  • Assisting external sales team with making customer appointments
  • Visiting trade shows (every 2/3 years)
  • Customer delivery checks
  • Maintaining and develop relationships with customers

Training and Development

Qualifications required:

Good standard of general education. Maths and English GCSE grade C or equivalent is preferred.

Welsh language requirements:  None

Apprenticeship course:  Level 2 Apprenticeship in Customer Service

Pay: Starting Salary £16,500 / Level 2 achieved £21,000 / Level 3 fully qualified £24,000

Hours: 36.5 hours per week Monday – Friday

Interview arrangements: You will be required to attend a face to face interview at CJP Sales involving both directors.
