The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our well-established Accounts Team as an Accounts Apprentice. This role offers an excellent pathway for someone looking to build a long-term career in accountancy. As part of the apprenticeship, you will be supported in studying towards your AAT qualification, gaining both practical experience and formal training.

Key Responsibilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • GCSEs in Math’s and English (expected grades 6–9 or equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work

You can benefit from a staff discount in the staff shop, large car park with free parking on site. Experience: No previous experience is required. Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role, alongside support for your AAT qualification.
Training and Development
This role will be supported by a formal apprenticeship programme, providing structured training alongside practical experience in a professional  environment. It is an excellent opportunity to build a long term career in accountancy.

Qualifications required:

Good standard of general education including Maths and English GCSE grade C or equivalent

Welsh language requirements:  None

Apprenticeship course:  Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accountancy

Pay: Starting Salary:  Apprentice rates

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 9am to 5 pm

Interview arrangements: You will be required to attend a face to face interview at Sidoli.

Duties

Food Preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients as directed by chefs. Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, equipment, dishes, and utensils, adhering to strict hygiene standards. Dishwashing: Washing, drying, and properly storing all kitchenware, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. Stock Management: Receiving, unpacking, and correctly storing food supplies and other kitchen ingredients. This includes checking sell-by dates, rotating stock, and managing storerooms. Kitchen Operations: Keeping the kitchen environment clean, organised, and safe by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste. Chef Support: Assisting chefs and cooks with any other kitchen tasks as needed, including helping with basic meal preparation or taking instructions.
