Proud to Promote Welsh Apprenticeships on the World Stage
Cambrian Training is proud to be at the prestigious Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2026, taking place from 16–19 May at ICC Wales in Newport. Recognised as a premier event in the global culinary calendar, the congress brings together chefs, hospitality professionals, educators, suppliers and industry leaders from more than 100 countries for four days of learning, innovation and world-class networking. It is the first time the event has been hosted in the UK, making it a landmark moment for Wales and a tremendous opportunity to showcase the nation’s food, talent and hospitality to an international audience.
This year’s program promises an outstanding line-up of names from across the hospitality world. Delegates will hear from legendary chef Marco Pierre White, who will speak about provenance, traceability and respect for ingredients, while successful Welsh culinary chefs Tom Phillips and Sian Wyn Owen will be sharing their career journeys and insights. Alongside the keynote speaker sessions, there will be the Global Chefs Challenge Finals, where some of the finest culinary talent from around the world, including Wales, will compete live in front of an international audience.
As part of this exciting event, Cambrian Training Group will be exhibiting to showcase the strength of Welsh skills and learning and food innovation. Visitors to the stand will be able to meet representatives from Cambrian Training Company, one of Wales’ leading work-based learning providers that specialises in Hospitality and Food & Drink Manufacturing apprenticeships, as well as in many other sectors.
